Pursuing a career through post-secondary education?
We offer one scholarship and one bursary each year. Scholarships are a great way for students to help finance their post-secondary education, but they also look great on a resume when you're just starting out in your career.
We offer the following scholarships and bursaries:
Kinette Club of Assiniboia Youth Humanitarian ScholarshipFor more than 100 years, the members of Kin Canada have been helping to improve the welfare and happiness of others through community service and volunteerism across the country.
Since 2002, helping others has been the true the driving force behind the Kinette Club of Assiniboia. Our club motto is “give back, make friends, have fun”, and each and every action, project and service incorporates each of these elements in some way. Together, we share a common goal of supporting the community, but individually we each have skills that strengthen our collective expertise. Working together, we create a plan for a project or service, perform the steps needed to put that plan in motion, and complete the plan together. We would like to recognize these ideal Kin characteristics in our youth to ensure that the legacy of community service will continue for generations to come. |
Kin Canada BursariesSince its inception in 1994, $1,214,000 has been awarded to 1,214 students across Canada. The amount disbursed in any one year depends on the balance of the Hal Rogers Endowment Fund and its governing laws. Kin Canada Clubs play a vital role in the Kin Canada Bursaries program. They make donations to grow the fund, which affects how many bursaries are awarded each year. Kin Canada Bursaries is a program of the Hal Rogers Endowment Fund. $1,000 bursaries are awarded to Canadian students from coast-to-coast who are pursuing post-secondary education. Each year, application forms are posted early fall and are due by February 1 to the club closest to the student applying. Clubs submit one application to the Board of Trustees and those selected are notified by June 30. |
