Pursuing a career through post-secondary education?

We offer one scholarship and one bursary each year.  Scholarships are a great way for students to help finance their post-secondary education, but they also look great on a resume when you're just starting out in your career.

Students can apply for the following scholarships or bursaries, provided they meet the eligibility requirements:
The Kinette Club of Assiniboia will provide a scholarship to one (1) student of this year’s graduating class of ACHS who has demonstrated the following Kin characteristics:
  • Is courteous and respectful to all people
  • Has initiative and drive to start and complete projects that focus on helping others
  • Is an active community and/or school volunteer

ACHS students can apply for the scholarship online.

Kin Canada Bursaries

Since its inception in 1994, $1,214,000 has been awarded to 1,214 students across Canada. The amount disbursed in any one year depends on the balance of the Hal Rogers Endowment Fund and its governing laws.
Kin Canada Clubs play a vital role in the Kin Canada Bursaries program. They make donations to grow the fund, which affects how many bursaries are awarded each year.

Kin Canada Bursaries is a program of the Hal Rogers Endowment Fund. $1,000 bursaries are awarded to Canadian students from coast-to-coast who are pursuing post-secondary education.

Each year, application forms are posted early fall and are due by February 1 to the club closest to the student applying. Clubs submit one application to the Board of Trustees and those selected are notified by June 30.
